The Academy
of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers (ACHMM) is a hazardous materials
professional organization that is comprised of 60 Chapters with over 8,500 members in 34
States, including the District of Columbia and Guam. The CHMM designation is earned by an environmental professional who has demonstrated the competence and qualifications to handle the responsibility for the complex aspects of hazardous material management. (S)he has earned certification in the managment of hazardous material. (S)he is certified in the use, control, administration and training of hazardous materials or regulates hazardous materials.
